Preceptor: Challenges and Critical Thinking

This course is designed for healthcare preceptors and is intended to equip them with the skills necessary to guide new or transitioning clinicians through the challenges of preceptorship. Participants will learn to manage change, reality shock, stress, and conflict, ensuring a smooth transition for preceptees into their new roles. The course also covers essential time management techniques, including organization, prioritization, and delegation, as well as strategies to foster critical and creative thinking. After taking this course, preceptors will be prepared to support their preceptees effectively, enhancing their decision-making skills and improving workflow in clinical settings. Story-based learning will support active learning.
